“Let’s Do Lunch”
This has been an annual fundraiser since 2000. Each year in February we coordinate a lunch and the proceeds are donated to Cunningham Children’s Home in Urbana. We alternate the location every other year between a Champaign restaurant and hosted at Cunningham with a tour of the facility. Lunch is donated and alumnae members are asked to bring a $25 donation to the event. The event includes lunch, chapter business meeting and a presentation from the Cunningham staff regarding needs at Cunningham Children’s Home, as well as a recap of successes over the past year. 2023 will be casual lunch on 5/31 or 6/1 at 11:45am at El Toro across from Cunningham.
Social/Fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
This event started in 2009. We partner with Sun Singer/Alto Vineyards/Grovestone/and others to provide a wine tasting/social event. The cost per person includes a donation towards our St. Jude Fundraising efforts. Sometimes we also include a “consultant” party (Keep Collective, Longaberger, Stella & Dot, LuLaRoe) where all proceeds from the sales are donated to St. Jude. “Trekking with Tri Deltas” also an option. Watch for details for summer 2023 event.
St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer
New in 2013 - our alumnae chapter formed a team to participate in the November Give Thanks Walk in Bloomington, IL to benefit St. Jude. We continue to organize a team, but now we meet on race day in Champaign and have breakfast together and then walk at an office park. We have also added a Zumbathon fundraiser to add to our team contribution. Our combined fundraising towards our Walk/Run Team in 2023 was over $2500!

Letter Writing Campaign with Delta Pi Chapter
Each year the Delta Pi Chapter coordinates a letter writing campaign to solicit donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Some years they request our assistance.
Greeks at Bat with Delta Pi Chapter
Each year the Delta Pi Chapter sponsors a softball tournament with the proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Alumnae members can support this event by sponsoring a team. More details to be provided in the spring.
